June ride, Pendleton to Summer Lake OBDR

Let's start planning now for a ride to Summer Lake Hot Springs this coming spring. First weekend of the Summer Solstice. The plan is simple; leave Pendleton day one, camp one night inbetween Pendleton and Summer Lake, Return the next two days. 4 days three nights in the beautiful Oregon Outback. Sounds good to me, I will not be able to go on June 6. but most any other time is possible. PS just read your post on adv. rider 600 miles Oregon to Nevada. Pretty sweet did you do that without sleeping bags, tent, etc. Would we be packing gear on the Pendleton to summer lake trip?

Yes that was an awesome ride! We stayed in a hotel so packing was light. In June I will bring sleeping bag and sleep pad for camping for sure. Jet boil stove, MREs, etc.........

June 12,13,14,15 sound good?

Sounds like a sweet trip! Not sure If I'll be able to make the time frame or not. A few of us are planning on trying the OBDR next summer and should be about the same time frame. If we decide to do that ride later in the year than it may be doable for me to. We need to have our first trip meeting soon to see who all still wants to do it and when, how long ect. Should know more after that for sure.

September would be great, cooler nights mean the hot springs would just feel that much better!

September or April. I won't even start planing something in September untill about August. Too may rides between April and Sept. April usually means snowpack and mud though in the higher elevations.

And Yes I did go to the Let R Buck room for some drinks and bare chested women.
