Higher handlebars?

Thanks to everyone for helping me through all my questions on my new pig (OK, there, I said it).

I have Pro Taper fat bars, I think CF Hi. I'm sure about the Hi part. The PT bracket is mounted on top of the stock bracket built into the triple tree top. So it is all supposedly a tall handlebar setup, but I want much more height. Short of finding handlebars from a 1970s Honda mini bike, how can I get 2 or 3 inches more height? Happy to buy new bars, etc.

Thanks.

I was reading some threads on ADVrider the other day and came across another radiator fan discussion. "4play" had found a fan on ebay shipped to the door for under $30 bucks. After checking it out I pulled the trigger while it was still on sale. Here's a link to the seller on ebay - Click Here. Unfortunately the sale is over...But still a good buy!

Turns out it's the same fan (Spal 4" Pull) used in the KTM's but without the rectangle shroud . Oh well...I decided that some ...

It's been a weird year. Ogilvie died. And it seems his death slammed shut a special era for Honda Offroad.
Lets just say, the top two can be done to the 8mm 1.25 thread pitch as it has been stated before. It was easy to do. Sears sells a 8mm 1.25 pitch tap with the drill bit for like $8...so no need to buy a whole tap & die set.

However the other holes have brass gourmets that when you try and tap they spin. I could not hold them even with Vice-Grips, okay I did on one and it broke the Gourmet off inside with the tap stuck into that part. I had to cut the tap off with a dremel and push ...

Alot more selection of gears. The tyre was well forward, which I have heard helps with tight turns? I was finding after a ride, evidence of tyre rub on the exaust and even on the right side of the rear mud guard. This was with a half worn kenda 120. The tyre sat straight in the swing arm, and there was no slop in the bearings. I have ...

Ok, so we are going to ride the OBCDR this summer and I really don't want to worry about my radiators getting damaged. I have the acerbis 6.3 gal tank on the bike which offers some protection on its own but...I've read where the tank can flex enough in a crash to still bend the radiators so I decided to install some radiator guards/braces. Originally I was going to fabricate my own braces, after poking around the net a bit I came across the Unabiker radiator guards for the XRR and they look ...

Just rode the BRP with a newly installed Acerbis Sahara tank.

My first comment: My legs are spread apart due to the design/width of the tank. This kinda sucks

My second comment: With 5.5 gallons of fuel in the tank, the bikes center of gravity has shifted forward. Not too thrilled with this fact. After burning off while burning off some fuel I got use to this issue. Though in silt or soft sand I would prefer more of a center of the bike CG.

My third comment: Having all this fuel ...

I understand 'loud' is a subjective thing so put it this way, its currently un-corked with the end cap mod only. I would still call this 'quiet-ish'.

It also comes with the spark arrestor, so I guess this would shut it up a little more if need be.

cheers.
