Do old posts disappear?

Some of the old posts seem to have disappeared. I've written some things on here that I learned from PC in hopes others could find it and use PC's experience in their decision making. Some show up in Google's cache but not on the site perhaps?

Some of the old posts seem to have disappeared. I've written some things on here that I learned from PC in hopes others could find it and use PC's experience in their decision making. Some show up in Google's cache but not on the site perhaps?

The only threads that are auto purged are in the "Market Place" (45 days) and "Happening Now" (60 days). This is to avoid old ads being revisited long after the item has been sold or rides that are long over with.

"Soap Box" purges after 180 days but I just disabled that setting in case you guys want certain off topic discussions to stay around for eternity...Sorry for not warning you earlier.
