LED tailight for the BRP
I installed this LED unit, its a Edge 2 LED taillight. It's made to mount up under the fender but I decided to mount it above the fender to keep it out of harms way. I think it really looks good on the bike. You remove the stock light unit from the fender and install the new light over the hole. One note, the license plate bracket that came with the unit is to small to fit a standard license plate...Hmmmm. So I had to make a modification to make the plate fit right.
I'm very happy with the light. It really cleans up the rear of the bike, its very bright and I don't have to worry about burnt out bulbs.

I just use hand signals for now, eventually I will add a small set of LED blinkers back to the front and really be legal again.

Re: LED tailight for the BRP
Looks good! I didn't think of mounting mine on top of the fender. I had an Acerbis Dual Sport taillight on mine for awhile. The bulb contacts would always go bad, so I ended up soldering two 1157 LED bulbs. Worked great until I removed it.
Right now I'm running the Edge 2 along with the stock taillight. Just recently, the running light went out on my Edge 2. The brake and plate LEDS light though. It looks like a simple open circuit in the light. When I washed the bike the other day, the running light worked until it dried out. When I get bored enough, I'll pull it apart and see what's going on.
