Removing the swing arm

I got out the swingarm pivot bolt and the pivot adjuster bolt along with the lock nut easily but the swingarm does not want to come out. Anyone got some advice on how to remove the swing arm without causing any damage to the swing arm or frame?

I read the link above, however, I have no problem in removing the swing arm bolt. It is the actual swing arm that I cannot get out. It wiggles but won't come out. I'm going to take it to a shop since I think it is going to take a couple of people or they will need to strap the front wheel to something to keep the bike stationary so they can give the swing arm a good jerk to remove it.

Swingarm adjusting nuts are removed allready? because them also are keeping the swingarm in place.. not only bolt..

There's some rear shock linkage involved with swingarm...Did you double check that those bolts are removed?

Is the rear tire off?

Yep, rear tire off, shock off, adjusting nuts off, pivot rod out. It wiggles but just doesn't want to come out. Looks like the left side dust cap is smashed into the frame.

That's crazy.

If I remember right there are needle bearings in the swingarm...Maybe the bearing housing is sticking out.

What about prying one side just a tad...Gently to see if it's hung up. The swingarm is pretty tough and if you take it easy it might just work.

Geez finally got it out yesterday. Strapped the front wheel to a steel column good and tight, then strapped down the bike to a center stand and also supported the bike with a come along to the garage rafter just in case something went wrong. Sprayed some oil on both dust caps and gave it three good jerks. She popped out on the third try. The left dust cap was a little smashed up and I think that it was jamming up the swing arm some. I lube everything twice a year since I'm a daily off road rider, so now I'm good until Thanksgiving.
