bark buster handguards Empty bark buster handguards

Hi everyone
just wanted too share some pics and reviews of bark buster hand guards i installed last week (date on pics from camera wrong)! Well i was riding through some tight technical stuff here in the Maine woods and thought if i catch one of these pine trees with my handle bars my piano playing days are done lol!
I wanted something more robust that could take quite an impact than the oem hand guards which i do like quite a bit, but are merely for looks and occasional branch swatting! when i got home i searched the internet and found the bark buster hand guards. I remember these from way back and heard good things about them and think some of my buddies even had them on there 198?'s xrr's!

It took me couple hours two install directions are pretty straight forward. The High impact plastic guards do come in a nice shade of honda red (have more colors as well) and give the BIG ole XRR an extra tough look! you also can order led turn lights that can mount to the face of guard as well!
If you have any questions i will try and answer asap, tell me what you guys think!  cheers

That's a real nice bike you have there.

Hand guards are great UNTIL you go over the handle bars, you have a very good chance of breaking both wrists...... I know of 3 individuals locally who have done exactly that, cant even wipe your own bum! If your going over the bars get your hands off the bars and out of the gap between the bars and the guards.
