New XRR Owner - Austin TX

Hi, new XRR owner here, coming off my first dual sport a DR650, what a shocker. I got a 2000 model, uncorked, and it looked to me like a low miles bike that was not abused. So, I jumped on it. In process of having a farkel fest, and to make it street legal. Very cool that you all have started up a XRR forum! Looking forward to seeing whats up with others and their BRPs!

I was raised in Seattle, hung out at a crusty chopper shop on Rainier Ave, dropped out of Franklin High, and rode my first dual sport at age 15 at the local garbage dump by Lake Washington. My dad ran a French restaurant, and still has the oldest wine shop in Seattle on Queen Anne. So I moved to Austin to attend graduate school and ended up staying here, now working for the state legislature.
