ITS BEEN 'UNCORKED' WITH CORRECT CARB JETTING AND EXHUAST BAFFLE ,

Funny how people quote the above on a bike which doesn't need uncorking ?.....looks like a non US/Canada bike which should be full power from stock....so why does it need uncorking listen up

I guess people make a deal of it because the majority of info online about BRP's is from the states and they all need uncorking. He should state it is a european model that comes uncorked and has a slightly better headlight.... Wink

So you both agree I'm not missing something lol Bump I think we need to start an uncorking thread and see how many people will confess to uncorking their bikes and how many will stay quiet.....Burp comes to mind as an uncorker along with Frosty asking for it .
I will confess to buying a carb isolator and jets and removing airbox restrictors from my US import...and fitting a noisy HRC tip and thats it.... 2 thumbs

Have i missed something ? Mine is a european model , i have bought it and checked it around just to make sure everything is as it should be , the reason i have replaced so many parts is that it idles all over the place but i have replaced the parts for identical ones just brand new , ( it made no difference what so ever ) . Now i have lovely piece of aluminium from mr Mikuni waiting to replace the piece of shite OEM carburettor , happy days Bananatool

I assume that people are referring to the removal of the restrictive intake. This intake flows half the amout of mass airflow as the unrestricted intake.

Thank you USA EPA and the California Air Research Board CARB.

Your correct Aurora but all the UK bikes I see apart from a few US/Canadian models seem to be listed as "have been uncorked" by the owner razz meaning they were restricted when they got the bike....which is bull crap listen up
