And Again , What boots ?
Hi people i am about to push the trigger for new boots , long story short , did my research and decided i want something with Pivot point joint ( this is the best solution in my opinion ) to allow better movement as standard MX boots are too stiff and extremly uncomfortable for longer rides , i need decent protection and idealy goood water resistance .
I have got two finalists to choose from ( The best boots on the market in my opinion but slightly different purpose )
The forma dominator TX ( want red but noone has them )

Or
Sidi Adventure Goretex
http://www.adventure-spec.com/defaul...ore-boots.html
The forma boots are cheaper and provide top level of protection , and they look sick ( ICE cool ) ,
The sidi are slightly softer more comfy , with better sole which allows you to walk and not to slip in mud , 100 % water proof ( goretex ) but more expensive . I prefer the looks of Forma ( former DIADORA ) but looks are not everything .
Which way would you go and why ?

What are you going to use the boots for?
If it is off road riding you need the support of proper mx boots buy some goretex/mvp sock to keep you feet dry/warm.
For road riding buy the ones you like the look of

Re: And Again , What boots ?
I just got the Adventure Gore's - I did a ton of research and found these to be the best compromise for comfort and protection. As Hew says though if you just race then a full mx boot is the best but if you need one boot for 'leisure' off road and road riding then the Sidi's are great. Comfortable straight out the box. Have only worn them a few times so far but very impressed!

Re: And Again , What boots ?
I cover everything from road to desert , that is why i need boots to "do it all " ( if that is possible ) with some comfort features , it seems that 90 % of people i know think that the sidi adventure are the best choice .
Ricko , i have considered the Fox boots too ( i love fox products ) but ruled them out because they are not very comfy , ( i have tryed them on ) .
Thanx for help everybody .

Re: And Again , What boots ?
Have a pair of Dominators, great boot, comfy, pretty good in water, just a bit bulky and hot. Now have the Gaerne SG 12, another great boot, not as water tight, a little lighter. Required zero break in time and comfortable. I liked how the Dominators use an inner separate shell, easy and quicker to dry. If the price is right on the dominator I would buy them again. For sizing in the Forma's and Gaerne's they fit like a Nike shoe, if you wear a size 12 Nike buy a 12. Lot of people wearing the Sidi too, my buddies like their Sidi's. Sidis have soles, and misc. replaceable parts that might be a good feature? Seems like when I need new soles the boots are worn out, the support is gone.
