XR 650R dirt bike Tire Setup

It's time to change tires and wondering about this set (stock rims):

Front: Michelin Desert 90/90-21
Rear: Michelin CROSS COMP. S12 XC 140/80-18

or

Front: Dunlop GEOMAX ENDURO F.I.M. 140/80-18
Rear: Dunlop GEOMAX ENDURO F.I.M. 90/90-21

Yes, and a bit wider floats better in loose sand also - so go geddit!

I've decided for new "shoes":

- 140/80 18" Pirelli MT21
- 90/90 21" Pirelli MT21

Just couldn't find another set of MT21 and had to put some 90-90-21" and 120-90-18".

Same rear tyre on my bike , dare i say i dont like it , i am going back to michelin man again .

Well, I would prefer another tires, like Michelin Desert but around here diferent options are not available. This set "just" cost em about 400$

Yes but you can ride your bike in nice dry weather and stunning looking country , shitty tyres are just small price to pay for that

I've told you already, there are basic plans to head your way. Langewand/Doodsakker ("Long wall/Death acre"), the stretch of narrow beach in the South is on my 2do list, and once survived Luanda's not too far then anymore
