nice setup you have there.

Those hand guards you have - looks like they attached to the top fork pinch bolts? What make are they?

Cheers

Hi Mark,
Yes they do connect to the top pinch bolts, they are standard hand guards with the alloy metal insert moulded into them...along with these brackets...
http://www.xr650r.co.uk/newparts/guardmounts/guardmounts.shtml
Word of warning don't over tighten the pinch bolts if you get a set as I have heard of people cracking the yoke doing so.... listen up same goes for these bolts without the handguards you must not over tighten them.
I do like my garage, my place of rest away from kids and wife...sit in there messing with the bikes watching the world go by in the summer with the DAB radio blasting out 80's music....showing my age I know lol.

I hear you Very Happy but I do like my bikes clean, and as the weather is a bit wet over here and I don't have the heart to ride in the rain anymore....old age I am affraid the bikes sit in the dry and get cleaned over and over lol.
I have seen mud.....

Did you make that? Been thinking of making a little something for my XR and mounting it to the fender very similar to that to hold my tool kit and riding goodies like lens cleaner and a clean cloth...

This was a few months ago, Its allot cleaner now! I just scored a but load of shop lights and started wiring the shop for them. The KX500 is leaning on a pool table that's gone now. And the recliner is back in the house

Ya Chris,

tidy up, get rid of some unneeded rubbish. Make a crate of the surplus wood, and stash the KX500 in, then PM me for the address so you can post it (drool)......
