Today I drained my tank and removed the fuel petcock to 'repair'.  It would not turn off.  Looking at the filter column, it seems to be huge to me, is it normal?

The petcock lever is just 180 deg. out so the fuel orifices aren't closing, easy fix.

Looks spot on to me the outerfilter covers both main tank and reserve, inside that is the metal reserve limit tube....using some pliers you can carefully remove the out screen and you will see the tube inside...only twist it from the bottom otherwise you will damage it.

Thanx, good to know. Now I just need a petcock for the other side as tipping the bike over to get the fuel from the other side isn't my idea of fun. Having been around a few years, I don't like using energy unnecessarily Smile ...
