BMW S1000RR

I am not after supersport got fedup with them things long time ago , they are only good for a race track and to show off . I want bike for the real world , comfy , reliable , fast , not too heavy  .... As for the BMW , well there are not many good looking bikes around these days but if you want something REALLY UGLY you must have BMW they are the worse looking bikes out there and blind people wanting to ride the badge buy them  razz

Saying that i do know that the S1000RR is the best supersport bike you can buy at this moment and i was shocked how nice and torquey the engine is not just in the scream zone but all the way from the bottom . But as i have said too ugly and uncomfortable riding position of a supersport  Evil or Very Mad

I did consider some of the big Kawasaki's , but narrowed the search to the two bikes mentioned up there for various reasons ,....
The Z1000sx its a better bike for me , for my needs as a second bike . It has won loads of Awards and i have only heard Praise from everybody about this bike , not a single complaint , cannot say the same for the honda ( which i prefer ) there are some serious issues with this bike ( what's up honda ?  Shocked  ) , the biggest is the front brakes can lock while you ride the bike - not fun , rear suspension problems , i know someone who had his rear suspension unit replaced more than once ( 10 times if i remember  Suspect  ) ,.... There is no such a thing as perfect bike but some have come close (  pig  )
 nice

Not ridden the touring/sport Z1000, but I have ridden it's original incarnation.

For what it's worth - my two days on a hire Honda 1200 were "ok". Nice bike. A bit too much ride by wire. Big powerful engine? (really?) Hard to tell.

The Z1000 engine is awesome. Firecrackers and nuts, and so much fun.

The big thing about the honda vfr for me is the DCT , just hate to use mechanical clutches and change gears ( hydraolic clutches are great i wish all bikes have them ( not just some pumpkins  Bump  ) for more relaxed riding .
The Kawasaki seems like a winner , everybody seems to like them , i need to test ride first as i am not sure if i fit in coz when i had the ZX9R it was too small for me . hope the Z is bigger  naughty  .
