If it doesn not spin in the basket it's fine.
If is does not spin on the shaft then the shaft is farged....

thanks but that seems to contradict what i read on the ''pig pen'' site.... as well as the way the part is made to allow oil into the surface between the bushing and the cl basket

blurts it out:

rips on the admin:
youve got too much time on your hands . i dont.

then doesn't like the advice given:
thanks but that seems to contradict what i read on the ''pig pen'' site.... as well as the way the part is made to allow oil into the surface between the bushing and the cl basket

I'm a girl sandman  Wink , and my answer is correct - tough if you don't like it.
The 'new' bush has grooves on the INside to allow for lubing there, obviously between bush and shaft.
As an aside, give me ONE example of a spinning steel bush in aluminium - anywhere, in any machine?

Besides, your old bush was spinning there..... so why change it?
