Re: tips and tricks
M'key, then I'll post a russian villagers way to change your cam chain without taking a clutch basket out or even right crankcase cover out, don't repeat it at home and don't show it to your children to avoid damage, this is only for your information
Using this tool
you press out one pin on the old chain, then using a rasp you take out carefully a pin on the new chain with this tool, connect the old chain to the new chain with a piece of wire
then slowly moving a kickstarter you get a new chain on the bottom sprocket, disconnect the old chain, tie both ends of new chain to something and then try to insert a pin back, you might need some big pliers to start it and use rags to cover the hole so that nothing gets inside, like the pin or pliers. Then you can use the same tool to press the pin back. After that you'd be better if you could somehow hammer that flat side of the pin with something so that it wouldn't fall off if you won't change your cam chain for too long.
P.S. Found a video of someone doing it

Re: tips and tricks
Wow, it makes sense just like changing a drive chain but if you screw it up and the chain comes apart while running that clutch pulling tool will look pretty cheap compared to a scattered motor.
