xr650r Carb issues

yeah I have a 2001 XR650R and yesterday when I turned on the gas at the petcock gas just started flowing out of the over flow tube and wouldn't quit, even got into the air box. Never done that before ?? Any suggestions, stuck float perhaps ?

Definitely float stuck. you can try tapping the float area on the carb and hope that that shakes it free. If it keeps happening then you will have to strip the carb and give it a clean.
