Stock Stator and Tusk lighting kit Empty Stock Stator and Tusk lighting kit

Well,I've about fried my brain trying to figure out the rats nest on my 650R. I'm using the tusk harness with control switch,Tusk 1000 MAh 12v battery pack,trail tech DC reg/reg,and an 18v LED Flood for a headlight.

I have successfully wired the battery up to allow the twilight and both brake light switches to work with the wheeling supply Led drop in unit.

I need help connecting the stock stator to the DC Trail Tech Regulator.

Regulator to battery (it snaps directly to tusk harness, do I just splice the positive red from reg and negative from the reg to neg on battery?)

any help would be appreciated, my true mechanical tallent is breaking stuff.Hubs ect!

Quite frankly Jagger,

I glossed over your post.... and as any pics are lacking I browsed on!
As soon as I see 'tusk harness' or 'thao other popular name' - which are solely sold in the US, know it - then I move on.
I've seen enough pics to get a heartattack from, these 'omniversal' things are a mess.
My advice is take it to someone who knows about this stuff and get it fixed.... but if that person takes ALL OUT first then he's clever in my opinion.

check out the xr650r thread on advrider. There are a couple of e-lec-tric-ary guru's on there and they will be familiar with the parts you are working with.
