I don't think a 17 tooth front will fit in the space with a chain wrapped around it.  A 15 tooth is tight.

At least with a case saver in place...perhaps without it would fit?

Went from 15/40 to 14/45 today - Like riding a beast - Should be around 160 top speed Here I am banging it up through the box -

I still want to try the 13/45 - That will be insane with around 138km/h top speed - Excellent for our 1km Go Kart circuits
17/46 will give me my 180km/h speed back

Busy buying a 13 and a 17
One for track and one for road
Talon in UK makes 13
PBI in USA makes 13 and 17

Here is a link to one lap on the track - Yes, I know I am slow in the corners but I can pull those 450's on the straights and that is still with a 14t so I only use 4 gears - I pulled away slowly, I don't fancy being in the middle of that lot in the first corner

Chris,

next time use the full width of the track?
Hell man, you loose a lot of speed the way you cut off corners.
Here's an idea: shall I show you?
I got kit.... BRP smile

So half & half related, what you're gonna do with a 17 (se-ven-teen!) tooth sprocket?

I am scared of the slippery concrete patches in the tar

17/45 will give me back my same ratio as I had with 15/40 for the road

This is what I need a 17 for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aIVpvPATe8#t=16.117282

According to my speedo I was doing 179 - According to the gearing calculator I was doing 192 but I am not so sure about that - Was 8170rpm with 15:40 and a 150/60 17 tyre
