Bought a 2000 for adv riding and a big Outback trip next year.

Welcome, sweet bike and as kiwi said good to see another NZer on here. I bet that fairing would make long trips much more comfortable. More pics and a list of mods would be great, always interesting to see how you chose to improve the ol' girl.

A few photos of the bike. Still a work in progress. Totally rewired. 200w stator, cooling fan gps etc. Larger rads, homemade tank brace. Steel subframe. Rear shock being worked on. Will be needing a wheel rebuild.

yeah i had to install a twin winding stator on my xrr, as i like tiki tourin around the country, i run 1 dc, and 1 ac, togeather with a ascerbis cyclop h/light which runs 100wt high and low beam bulbs allows a reasonable pace after dark.
took abit of nutting out to get it to fit 2 v/regs under seat, (1 vfr800, 1 trailtech adjusty) put the small gel batt in the rear end part of airbox behind s/cover, which runs indicators/horn
