RAM x-grip
Any body use one of those Ram x-grip mounts for their phone or GPS?
They seem to be the most popular. Are they as good as the reviews? Do they hold on when it gets bumpy?

Re: RAM x-grip
No replies, but I got one anyway and can report that it is a very good piece of kit.
It kept a very tight grip my iPhone (or my Garmin car satnav, which ever I wanted to use) even when going off road. I did tether them to the handlebars just in case, but the mount didn't even come close to letting go.
Definitely recommended.

Re: RAM x-grip
Garmin uses RAM mounts for their cradles, so I use a few quite like anybody else who has a Garmin.
It's decent stuff, but dunno about the actual phone holders/cradles.
