Today the new tires arrived.

K270  4,6*18 ( next to 4.50*18 IRC  TR8 )
and    3.0*21 ( next to 3.25*21 IRC TR8 )

I bought the bike with low mileage and it turned out that the OEM tires from 2004 were still on the rims that came with the bike Shocked ( spare rims are in the bike now )

Have the BRP back at home. We had to align my subframe to the best we could as non professionals to complete the job. Previous owner probably dropped the bike on a occasion and forgot to tell me Neutral

Tomorrow i detach everything to prepare for a paint job

Its to cold outside to spray paint anything so i carried on with the seat.

I reused the seatcover from xr125L seat too.

Still lots of bumps but i am satisfied for a non professional.

nice build! i have the lesser version of globetrottin' subframe. Works great, did need a little massaging to get my T4 into place.

keep it up!

i'm afraid my DS is geared for grandpa as compared to yours, but yes i put wayyy too much money into this amazing machine. Hope this image works, but here she is. I should have done a build thread, but it probably would have spanned 5 years or so. BRP smile :

WOW ! What a beauty Cool  Your BRP realy stand out from the crowd. Every dime is well spent.

I`am almost grandpa and mine BRP is geared 15-48 to enjoy the trip as much as possible at max 80kmph on the smallest asphalt roads over the hills / mountains and no highway.

The offroad trips like for instance col du parpaillon will be at low speed ( have a 14 with me if necessary ) because i drive on my own.

The past time i

Covered the clutch side

Mounted the carterprotection

Mounted rocket launchers on the back of the luggage carrier  BRP smile

to carry some tools

And than made my first 200km testdrive.  When i got back i had a list of improvements

First - lowering the footpegs  -

I had wider Alibaba footpegs on the testdrive and that was i little improvement to the OEM footpegs but my knees where still to high. We took the OEM footpegs , disconnect them from the shaft, made the shaft longer and welded them back and the results look very promising

I think we won a inch

Now we must adjust the rear brake pedal and the shift lever

Second i ordered this 320 front disk because i found the frontbrake downhill with fully loaded BRP a bit affraid

Third i want some wind protection. Thinking of copying
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbtnlF4XGso
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK4MBaol2uw

Because this one i can disconnect in a second and it is flexible.
When i drive (offroad) i don`t want a "meoni" happen to me.

And than the second testdrive will take place
