Jetting and pipe Empty Jetting and pipe

I'm putting an XCR carb on the 07...Anyone got a good place to start for jetting for 1,500 ft? I just need to have a starting point and will fine tune it from there. Right now the pipe is stock however I got a Yosh muffler when I bought the 2000 XR this past Tuesday. The previous owner didn't like it, said it was too loud for his riding area...etc... What do you all think about the Yosh?

Jetting and pipe Empty You're getting into a pretty unusual setup

But you might find someone on TT who's combined those parts.

The Yosh is a little on the louder side but not too bad. I also added a ceramic coated header pipe... What do you guys think about radiator fans?

I installed a KTM one, it was like $100 from ktm-parts.com, It seems well worth it to keep it cool in the slow stuff.

by restricting air flow it creates a need for itself.

Just use Evans and be done with it - IMHO.

Evans and other coolants are fine until you lose the coolant on the trial... With those you can't just add water to limp back in on.

You can add whatever you want to get back home. It's just that adding piss will negatively affect the long-term viability and forever guaranty of Evans. Or so their engineers told me.
