OK now that we have the CARNAGE pics put of the way; I'll continue chronologically..........Preston showed up 10 minutes late to my house so me being the punctuality stickler I am, I boogied to Terrebonne without him, he caught up with me though........Stopped to shoot some antelope but as usual theyre just too fast to ever get them close....

Tim and Preston on the hillside headed east from Ashwood, this was a fund section with nice gravel roads and lots of curvys wiith the occasional hairpin just to keep you honest..
Ride to the heart of Oregon BRP066
The road and the guys were supposed to be in this shot but too many trees to see them of the road, this was right before I tried showing off and passed them both then came into a corner HOT and braked instead of throttled and my balding tire promptly gave me a great taste of gravel. I can now trumpet the value of good MX boots, body armour, gloves, and a helmet....

Would be sweet to meet like in Pendleton then take the OBDR from there to Summer Lake and stay at the Hot Springs, that place rocks and the riding would be magnificent. I'm sure I could talk one or two more into it as well. Well that's something to plan for the spring as snow would already be a problem soon.

More the merrier as far as I'm concerned. Ways out yet, but I'll be working a track out on GPS and Paper this winter. I have a place to stay in Hermiston (Family). Would be fun to camp one night between Pendleton and Summer Lake, Make this like a 4 day trip. I've been on 2 day 650 miles and that is fun, but there's lots of stuff I'd like to be able to explore that we just passed by to make better time. June around the summer solstice would be ideal for longest daylight.

We were planning on doing to OBDR next summer, starting in Walla Walla and running it backwards. Maybe a 7 day trip or so. That's what I was thinking, about late June. This is going to be fun! I've ridden in the guano lake area and Alvord area before, its an absolute blast!!!

That would be sweet. Let's see some or your E. Wa desert rides. I'll bet there's some knarly **** out there. I've always wanted to ride up in that "West of Ellensburg" area I think it's called manastach ridge or something. The wife and I used to backpack/hike into that area to camp and we always saw lots of dirt bikes.

I did, but isn't that Oregon? Do you have the same riding stuff in Eastern WA or is it all Private Property?

My bad. DOHHH! Embarassed

Yep that's OR. I've ridden more in Eastern OR than in E. WA. Most of Eastern WA is farm land and you can't ride far without coming to a fence. I would like to ride up out of Ellensburg and Wenatchee also, cool stuff up there. I see a lot of new rides forming next summer. cheers

Here's a couple from a riding area about 15 min from home. We play out there quite a bit.

Very nice ride report! I really like the pictures with all the snow on the plants. We don't get much snow here, just freezing drizzle and ice. Beautiful scenery around there.
