Moving is fun Empty Moving is fun

I have found a house to rent. I have been slowly moving since I dont have to be out of this apt until Aug 30. We have packed all the small stuff and after school I make a couple of trips hauling it to the new house. The house Im getting belongs to a coworkers Uncle. His Uncle told me when we talked that he knew the crap we were going thru so that moved me to the front of the renters list, when my credit check passed he gave me the keys.

I now have to say I have to much crap, My G/F has to much crap and together we have more crap than we need. I didnt think we had that much until I was faced with putting it all into a box.

By this time next week I should be moved in. I cleaned out my storage unit and the only thing thats left there is the 650R. I didnt wanna move it to the house when I cant be there yet. Found out the guy across the street from the new house has a CR 250 and lives to ride. I told him I got a bike also and after I get moved in and settled we would have to hit some trails.

I'm in the middle of it too. It's tough to rent a new place when I am 500 miles away.

Moving is fun Empty We have too much crap too!

I've been giving stuff away, donating, and making a pile to sell like crazy. We had a 5.3 acre ranch in San Diego before we moved here and kept a lot of our stuff thinking we'd get another place like it. But I'm 50 now with a 1 year old and 3 year old and caring for land is nowhere on my list of priorities. So we're trying to create a new lifestyle that best facilitates what we want to do with our kids. That means hiking, water skiing, dirt biking, and so forth.
