Handle bars...who make the highest...what bar you using?

I just don't like the position of my Pro Taper bars. The previous owner installed the bars. He was 6 foot 3 inches. I am 5'11"

I feel like I'm position to far forward and bent over for riding. I have currently rotated the bars forward to give me the most height.

Who makes the tallest bars?

What bars are you running?

Where is the best place to purchase bars?

Note: I am running a Scotts dampener.

I'm 6'3 and have some Renthal CR high bends with Tusk bar risers on mine. I had some Tusk T10 in CR high bend untill my bike came off the carrier and hit the ground at about 25mph. Best thing to do is check out this http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/handlebarinfo.do and look at the charts. It show height-width-pull back or you could go to your local shop and hold the bars in person. I like a flatter bar with a little pull back, I have some KX high bends that have way to much pull back for me.

While running the CR high bend and risers, was there any issues with cable lengths or brake line length?

I found out you have to be careful of the decompression cable. I thought I would take some of the slack out of my lever and then couldn't figure out why my bike wouldn't start . All cables and brakes work fine and I think the risers are 1 3/4" thats about the max with stock cables. The ones I have are segmented so you can adjust the height the new ones are 1 3/4" nonadjustable.

I have Renthal Dakar High on my bike. These bars are quite wide and I have taken an 1" off each side. The cables are on their maximum with these bars. At one point I could not figure out why the bike kept stalling only to find that when the bars were turned fully to the left it was pulling the decompressor cable and activating it.
Just had another swap around after fitting a mikuni carb, The cables that came with it were tight on the standard bars. I hated riding off road with the standard bars and had to have new throttle cables made to refit the Dakar bars. It feels right for me now but I'm only 5'10"
