hello world

Post  Fab Babar on Sat Jun 25, 2016 2:38 pm

HI guys. hope i'm in the good place... The usual sentence "I'"m french,  sorry about my English, balbal" NO ...kidding ! razz

So  it took a lot of time to find the motorbike suited for me...
I got it, I keep it.
Started long time ago with 21' wheels . Ran through every motorbike possible and come back to what I love. Sit at the top, big wheels, kick ( yes KICK !!) and the high finition of Honda that some friends always told me about, but I was in kawa, triumph( tiger 955, st955, which have really good quality too),etc...

I Love to have some red bull Under the seat and use to travel around Hungary, since I moved from France , it's a good central place to discover many countries around. banana
I still keep my Yamaha 600 ttre . just  rebuild engine new, but, really, it look as like an old  agricol engine compared to the red pig...
It took me 3 weeks to turn around the bike, wondering how to properly kick it... Well I was used to kick, but had some psycho issues....
One day I just jump on the bike, not psuhing too hard on kick, but full deeply down and ... that's it, the monster wake up ( uncorked, HRC exhaust )
It's a 2005 I bought with around 20000km. Not sure about the kms, but it's in very good condition, as every bike in this "little poor" country. U can find bikes 20 years old in perfect condition : they don't ride in winter and are  anal concerning their expensive bikes . Rolling Eyes

So OI presume this BRP was in supermoto wheels before, as there is no trace of enduro boots on frame or usual scratch parts. I suspect  the guy  gave up after sliding, the left radiator had some hit and the suspension was locked on the hard side full clic everywhere like wood
No oil burn, no strange noise, starts like a dream ,but  it's on the rich side. I don't need the starter if T° is upon 10° C. Spark plug deep Brown. I 'll check the carburation setting ( needle, jet, etc ...) beat head

As an european model , I presume stator is a 75 watts. I put two small 10 watts leds (for mad budapest car traffic) and a 50/55 watts  lamp in th acerbis. all works fine, even a big klaxon

I Love and try to travel light, I fight all time not to bring too much things.  Plan to go Russia , Kazaksthan with the BRP and sure it has to be light , to keep the FUN  Very Happy  Very Happy . With this bike, you konow u're wrong first minute you start to put something more on it !!!

Will surely open the engine this winter to see if everything is allright...

I don't care about wood seat . have to stop anyway every hour and half to find fuel ( like the TTRE 10l fuel too). Best pretext to save the bump, find people, ask for fuel and enjoy scenery.Maybe I will put a Clarke fuel tank for some desert crossing ( and let all fuel booles at gas stations  Bump )

I'm used to heidenau scout ( last tour of  7000 km with heidenau, still good)  so put one 140/80 at back and an old  Dunlop from  2005 at front (well must change this one ASAP) but seeing the torque and the fun  on corners, don't think it will last  so much !  Frustrated
i let the 14 /48 but will test a 15 for some travels going to Latvia,etc...

I will put pics of the bike ASAP i find a link for it

wish you all the best with your big pig...  It's so true that every time you ride this bike, you can't stop smiling....
A real adventure bike which makes the 0/100km'h in 3 sec...

of course, every is welcome to Budapest, I will take care of you !!! ( even going by plane, take a red and white one, please)

Welcome to the forums, if your bikes a EU model they are shipped un-corked only the North American models are restricted....mine was restricted when I found it in the UK....love the US version as no frills or fancy stuff just a bike with basic lights....no DC.... AC all the way Bump
