Re: Trail Riding Wales UK
Decembers little ride out. First one with the CRF forks. It was meant to be a beginners ride allowing me to do some tweaking but they all did OK.

Couple of days riding with some lads visiting from the frozen North.
Titles tell it all.

OK, let me start with saying I've never been to Blighty yet....... but I am again surprised at the sheer endless green lanes available to ride in/on!
What also seems a bit odd is that farmers allow/condone riding on/though their lands?
Hell, you'll have to be VERY quick here, you may get shot for that!
But anyways, looks like fun Hew, enjoy!

Shots have been fired in the past but hey ho.
The green lanes are infact unsurfaced roads with the same vehicle rights as any other council highway. Technically the land that the road is on is owned by the crown and not by the farmers whose land it goes through. Some farmers do express their opinion on this but it does not change the facts.
What a great bike the BRP is. Why didnt Honda add an electric start, a 6 speed box and sell it as a big trail bike like the Yamaha XT

Re: Trail Riding Wales UK
Yeah, a six speed 'box would help a lot - or a wider box, a shorter first would help too.
But you're right Hew, I've always wondered why Honda decided that "450cc is enough!" - and got it right to enforce this worldwide!
If anyone has more info on this pls share!

Really glad you have enjoyed them. There are loads more since these on my you tube site.
The 2 most recent are on a 450 husaberg that I have just rebuilt after it blew up 3 years ago.
