Tusk Fuel Cap

Tusk Fuel Cap
Anybody else using a one of the Tusk billit gas caps having problems with it not venting enough? Got one for the pig and the bike will not run with that cap on it. Throw the stocker back on and it fires right up. I can suck air through it, but I guess it's just not air to allow enough fuel flow to run. I even bought it with a spare vent line, figuring I would loose one sooner or later, and it's not any better with the spare.
Any ideas?

There's not some kind of plastic blocking the bottom of the cap is there? You know protective film.

Yeah, yeah..... caught the flu for new years; takes everything I got just to get to the computer.
Hopin' to get to it in the next coupla days.
I did however check the check valves, both since I got a spare and they seem loose enough and I can suck air through em off and on the cap, so we'll see when I can get the strength up to kick it over. Was thinkin' of starting it up with the stock cap, get it idling good, then try the tusk.
