Need expert honda parts knowledge...

I have been trying like hell to sell my stock front end set up. The only bite I've had is a guy with a 650L who wants to know if my forks will work on his L (mine are from a 2002 XR650R ). I have no idea if they're the same or not. They look similar but I'm no expert. So bottom line are the XRR and XRL forks the same? Ben

Quick look online and it says the fork leg only fits the 650R all years.....51580-MBN-671

Based on that I would say no; but anything can be made to fit if you have the time and equipment.

Stick them on fleabay ?

I have heard that some L owners are running the R forks , ( adventure bike rider forums if i am not mistaken ) that means it must be possible , and the front wheel should be straight swap i believe .
