Help identifying this exhaust

Any info on this exhaust appreciated...

2 silencers > more weight, so it's no racing pipe.
Looks like a home brew Mark, seen a similar thing on a motard.

hmmm - reason I'm interested in it is that as you say two pipes mean more weight but they are skinnier pipes not probably not too much more. I would like to do either an under seat exhaust or tuck a pipe each side up and under the seat a bit to make the rear as narrow as possible.

Unless you'll discard the existing airbox you'll have a hard time to fit a pipe in on the lhs. And, those airfilter-cones are not too good for offroad, just want to mention that here

good point thanks. definitely not going for a cone filter!!! this is initial brainstorming - I will be making a new steel subframe to take the weight of luggage so while I am at it I have the opportunity to 'restyle' it to see if I can get the exhaust/s under the seat but I don't want to limit rear suspension travel. Did some measuring last night and the way I measure it (307mm rear travel if I remember rightly) already puts the wheel hitting the underneath of the fender

ive previously made the headers go around either side of the cyl, then join up under the carb, but if your really keen, you could make the muffler body as an intergral part of the subframe, i.e a brace or monoque style of frame that has the muffer incorporated , otherwise just run a pipe/muffler either side

I am thinking of sticking a Yamaha R1 tailpipe out under my seat on my motard

Yeah I was thinking along those lines of having the silencer incorporated into the subframe. Correction to what I said earlier max travel of the rear wheel gives a few inches clearance.
Next thing to find out is which oval silencer is 'flatist'.....

I will never use 11" of travel on my motard - R1 pipe (just one of the set) is the right sort of length and shape - If I use a stock one I will gut it a bit - it is an awesome titanium tailpipe that comes on the R1 but they are expensive but most guys don't want theirs as they fit aftermarket

I saw a pic on the net of a very flat oval one on an XR - looked awesome but I can't find the pic again :-(

What worries me is that from the back the right side plastic will look odd bulging out with no pipe under it
