Knee Guard - Find what fits you best
Hi guys,
need a new Knee Guard. Always been using basic knee guards protection.
Getting old and hoping will be better to investe some money in protection rather in surgery.
Can't aford over 500€ de pair and hope they are strong enough to hold for 3-4 years...so let's try to find the better options available.
1) Asterisk Cyto Cell Knee Brace
2) EVS Axis Sport Knee Brace
3) EVS RS8 Pro Knee Brace
4) Alpinestars B2 Carbon Knee Brace
5) EVS SX01 Knee Brace
Need you experience and feedback guys.

1, 2 & 3 I'd not buy unless I had the chance to test them for a full, read: FULL, day.
The straps will pinch you, leave marks on the skin and will irritate the shite oot a ya!
I'd go with 4, less likely to pinch locally.
No doubt they'll all protect the knee nicely....

But Babuja,
BMW's Summer Pants has built-in armour which does not bother you at all. Softish stuff which on impact stiffens up, works well.
The pants itself is great too, lotsa pockets too - and is not at all costly when compared to other brand's riding pants (without armour or pockets!). Not warm, and I've used it for alpine skiing even without thermal underwear, just the pants - not cold! Would be ideal for that trip

Well, need good protection for rally raid and as I said, better to investe some money in protection rather in surgery.
About confort (marks and irritation) well...if they don´t interfir with my ability to move I can accept that...I think

Yes but, you have to stick them in the top of your boot. I use Tech 10 boots.
Remember, in extreme cases they are designed to protect your knee by breaking your leg.
Leg heals faster than knee.
When wearing them after a little while you don't even feel them. Don't plan on wearing them on
a 10 mile hike.
As far as size is concerned it is better to go with a bigger size than a smaller size.
They saved me three times so far. Well worth the money!!!!!!!!!!

The brace is long. Thus, part of the brace will be inside of your boot.
