Well ya learn somat everyday...I thought for sure this was a joke, along with "go to the tool store and ask for a 'long weight' or 'eh, mate go change the air in the tires will ya'.  But apparently there really is such a thing as a spoke torque wrench Very Happy

oh and no I dont know where to buy one - I'm guessing you've tried google?

I'm not sure how you would ever use 1 on existing spokes.... ?, you would only want a slightly rusty nipple/spoke and your wrench would say it's tight...and it wouldn't be ?.
Just looked on fleabay and nothing there....

Surprised you've never heard about this:

How do you do your XR loosing stock spokes wheel maintenance without one of this?

tnks Mauser but can't use it on XR stock spokes as they are 6.1mm.

My baby doesn't get bounced about or dirty so my spokes never bother me....only the slight little spots of corrosion bothers me and that's just me being picky....lol.
Sorry babuja didn't look at the spoke size just googled spoke wrench for ya lol.

I would not bother with a torque wrench for spokes just get a proper spoke spanner.
Give them a tap and nip any up that are loose.
I've just respoked two wheels for a twinshock trials that I am restoring and don't think a torque wrench would have been any advantage.

As has already been said you could be checking how seized the nipple is to the spoke.

No problem with nipples, just need to do some regular spoke maintenance as stock rims/spokes seems to loose very easily.

Every 2-3 rides need to check on that to avoid larger problems...preventive maintenance nice
