Acerbis 24L tank
Now I don't claim to be an engineer or a mechanic, and tinkering with motorbikes for many years has caused me one or two headaches. But fitting an Acerbis desert tank by yourself and getting everything to line up has to be right up there with trying to lick your own elbow
Well I did it eventually, but then had to figure out the best routing for the fuel lines. I've got inline filters from each petcock so things are looking a bit cramped. I've taken the left hand one between the carb and the cylinder and hung it from the carb boot rubber with a cable tie to keep it out the way.
Seems to be working ok or could this be too close to the cylinder and cause the fuel to vaporise??.
Does anyone know what the reserve capacity is in these tanks? I can't find it anywhere on the www.

Re: Acerbis 24L tank
The routing its fine , you can add some exhaust wrap if you want to keep things cooler .
