Stator coil upgrade
Hi - Does anyone here have the recipe to upgrade the wiring on the UK stator? I don't need the sort of power a Ricky stator puts out and I can't get them in my country. What I need is what gauge wire and how many windings to improve the stock stator

I have a mate who winds guitar coils, I will try get him to help. Just need to pick up 0.5kg 1.02mm wire and some epoxy

0.5KG sounds a lot of wire lol.....you hoping to generate 1.21 gigawatts ?
In order to travel through time, the vehicle integrated with the flux capacitor needed to be traveling at 88 mph (140.8 km/h), and required 1.21 gigawatts of power (1,210,000,000 watts), originally supplied by a plutonium-powered nuclear reactor.

Probably the least they will sell. The instructions say 1lb of wire

I installed this:
https://www.electrexworld.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=xr650&PN=G443-RR17%2ehtml#SID=200
Works great! Note that you will need to install either a battery or a capacitor (I went with a capacitor) to 'absorb' the extra power is produces.

Is it plug and play? Do all the plugs fit straight in the harness?

Re: Stator coil upgrade
Hmmm good question - it was a while ago. From what I remember it was easy enough to do although you will probably have do to some wiring depending on if you go with a battery or capacitor and where you locate them.
The reg/rect is larger than the stock one although I still got it under the seat. If I remember correctly I had to cut out a little plastic barrier that helped keep the stock one in place. I managed to get the capacitor under the seat but attached to the outside of the frame rail with zip ties - essentially it is located under the seat under where my right thigh sits if that makes sense. If your not sure I can maybe take a picture tonight or tomorrow if you want.
Cheers,

They say it is 250W
If 34 coils of 1mm only gives 100W then how does Electrexworld get 250W? I would like to get my stator rewound to a decent spec and have someone locally that can wind it
