Tut tut tut Mauser, that's a smoker....................... AWESOME!
That seat can be sorted easily, and a few oils renewed (forks?) will probably sort this beaut - Enjoy!

Ya Mark,
I agree, time for ol' Mausie to post a pic of a clean shiny bike.
Mind, he may be snowed under at the mo so we'll accept a garage pic instead of one showing him hanging on for dear life whilst on the back wheel flying over a rut or log or why
I genuinely think this is a super bike, I remember drooling over it when I was young.... it was BIG!

Shit.... imagine her (and YES, this is a she, an old lady) with new shiny paint of tank, fender etc - droolworthy!
Never mind the frame, looks good as it is!

Re: New Bike
I see from another vid that this thing has dual spark plugs, but you run it on only one.
I bet anything it'll run better on two - is it incomplete at the moment?

Dual spark plugs were common, just means you can swap over in seconds if 1 fails....
She was 99% complete needs a headlight and tail light lens as that got bust. All electrc cable needed re-sleaving as the plastic had gone brittle and shatters when moved or pressed.
Some parts are still available from Yamaha...air filter etc, others have to come from the
USA which can be expensive, indicators cost me nearly £300 for a period set...ouch import duties and shipping etc. But she's getting close now needs battery, seat as mentioned and £94 to insure her for the year. As she is an old girl I don't need MOT or road tax just insurance which is a bonus.
