How To Build A (Custom) Tent Footprint

I know you can buy them but if your like me and can't get one for your tent...This vid will help.

I was at Sportman's Warehouse today and found this kit in the cheap camp gear section. The kit is $3.49 and the extra grommets ran $1.59. I was thinking when you're trimming the tarp to cut a tab that could fold back under itself for extra strength when pressing in the grommet.



Here's the $6.50 footprint I made for my tent.

Thats pretty cool, I like how it centers itself on the tent. Nice find!

I've got plenty of grommets if you want to add straps to your foot print when you get it, unless you make one...The seed house FP runs $50.
