A Big Stack story
hey Fellas , just a warning bout hitting tree stumps at 90 Kmh, went out for a ride sunday afternoor in julimar, i was heading over to Bindoon for some cans with a Mate, ridin up Western Boundary road, there is a slight dog leg in the track, i ran wide thru it to use the edge of the track as a Berm , were the road straightend up ther was a Tree stump in the shadow of the grade mounding, I hit it on the gas and it stopped the old XR dead in its tracks, threw me over the bars pretty hars head first into the dirt, whecked my New Fox v2 helmet, Im pretty Glad i was wearing my neck brace cos it could have been really messy otherwise, once a re composed and stood up i knew things with the xr where not going to be good, Damage List as follows
- Front wheel bent like a Banana
- Front Hub Stuffed about 10 spoke holes Smashed of
- Cracked the Chassis up at the wild where head stock meets oil resivior tube, on the wild itself at the rear of the Tube,
-Rear Subframe very bent
i have got the rear subframe straightened tonight, and have the hub and rim on order, welding getting done soon by a Guy in perth who used to have a engeneering shop, he assures me it will be fine.
i have a Very bruised knee and a little skin of and a Small broken bone in my hand, i feel like i been hit by a Quarter back ha ha, i hope it will all come together fine as enteries for the FINKE desert race opened yesterday, its in 12 weeks so i best keep finges crossed, i feel very lucky to not be more badly injured.

Re: A Big Stack story
Hey Auroura, the Neck Brace I run wear is a brand calle EVS, a bit different to a Leatt, the both work great though. I have attatched my Fox Airframe Armour to it so it works really well.
Oh yeah, bike goes to get welded today and I just discovered The forks are bent. Great; more work.
