Is it worth buying an unregistered or registered XR?
As title, I'm looking at 2 XR650Rs, one registered one not, obviously the one thats not is cheaper (by about 600 quid). Is it worth the hassle and taking the chance on the one that isnt, or go for the one that is.
Any help is greatly appreciated

I would ring the DVLA and ask their advice, get the chassis number and ring Honda and see if they can give you an idea on costs to register it ?.
It wouldn't put me off as long as the bike had a chassis number.

Haha.
A plated XR is definitely worth more than a non plated one. All else equal I'd value it at about $300. But you need to take into account all the accessories the non-plated XR will need to have added to make it meet the requirements in your state. If it has none of the required lights/mirrors/etc then you'll be dropping a couple hundred bones just to get it ready to register.
