Another NOOB

Hi guys and girls, I finally received my XRR so thought I'd introduce myself. Bought and shipped a bike to Canada from a member here, motomarc. A really great guy! Just in the process of working out a few bugs to get passed Transport Canada requirements and should have it ready in a couple weeks or so...

Not the first big single I've owned, had an '01 DR650SE that I did a ton of work to, including supermoto and suspension mods. Loved the little bugger but had to part with it a few years ago. Always wanted a BRP but there were none available so I got the DR.

I'm also a member on SMJ and TT as Icelander-DR650. I'll maintain that username on those forums as I have a history that I'm proud of on them and still get questioned about the DR.

I'm sure as time goes on I'll have lots of questions and hopefully answer a few.

Send me the stock headlight and cowl please ?.....mine came with 1 but it was cracked I'm now running the UK version but think I prefer the US version as shown in the bottom spares piccie ?.

I was going to see if I could get a DOT approved light to fit the stock cowl with high and low beam...Kinda like the stock look and the current one doesn't have the needed DOT embossed on it.

If I decide to part with it I'll give you first dibs...Want any DR650SE parts?

No problem, I am sure you can get a glass version which will take a stock dip/main beam bulb.
