Sounds like clutch basket?

Hi everyone new to the forum, but would be great if someone could give me advice on what sounds like a noisey clutch? All gears and the clutch itself works well but there is a definate noise from behind the clutch cover. not pulled it off yet, thought i might take some advise first. Do clutch pressure plate bearings give problems/noise sounds a bit like a rum mble but dont think its coming from bottom end, it's behind clutch cover? Thanks

Are you running a plastic factory skid plate or an aluminum skid plate?

What year is your bike ?, does it make the noise when clutch is in or out or both ?.

Pull the clutch!
Your year's model (2002) may have the faulty bushing which was replaced that year. The replacement-bush has some indentations ground (or cast) in it for better lubrication, which the wrong one lacks.
This bush will wreak costly havoc if is seizes, and they will do that.
If your clutch still works then fine, but pull it soon, and put the improved bush in if it needs it. Besides, you can then visually go over all to see if there's more.
