upper tree

Why do people change the upper tripple tree? Mine has a BRP brand tree with Renthal bars. I think
the risers are stock...

Your risers are not stock because they are built into the stock upper triple clamp. This is why they are often changed, because people want to move the bars, raise them, or install tapered bars. FYI

also some steering dampers require this to be replaced.
