First Ride 2013
I got very lucky this weekend and was able to get out for a few hours. Sanity now ensured for the next couple weeks at least.

Re: First Ride 2013
what was the temp there?
the northwest us and adjacent canada is on my must do list...
a good friend who is retired and runs around the country in a rv - when asked what one area would he recommend to someone as the place to go if only one place could be visited - responded without hesitation with "the nw usa and the sw part of canada". i'm sure it's a lot of individual personal preference, but until i know better, that is still where i will point the headlight...
"joe cool" with the sunglasses... great shots.
thanks.

It was in the 40's that particular Sunday. Probably high 40's, low 50's in the valley.
Tried to get out yesterday with my son but we ended up doing maintenance as his XR has sat too long. Bad gas and turn signals have no power. Next weekend.
I don't go anywhere without my Transitions lenses.

Re: First Ride 2013
those looked like transitions. i used to require glasses years ago. somewhere down the line i tried a set of the transitions and was hooked ever since. i always ended up picking up the transitions to put on. well worth the cost to me.
luckily my eyes were not very bad, and have changed some through the years such that glasses are no longer required ( perhaps needing bifocals to read better now though )..
i would have guessed the temps somewhat lower...
