Got me a new ride

I joined a few weeks ago and have been waiting untill I had some pics of my 00 XRR. I have been ridding a 85 CR500 for years now and am a mod on the best CR500riders board. I have had a 90 DR650s bought new in 1990 sold it a few months latter to get a 90 CBR600 had a few others in between a Banshee and then in 2005 I bought a 05 XR650l after riding my brother in laws 00 XRR. I put a Big Gun full pipe, put on a Clarke tank, dropped a tooth on the counter shaft and jetted it and still got my butt handed to me when we raced. Fast forward to now I got the bug and wanted a plated big bore so I looked at some KTM's, Husqvarna's and the BRP. So I bought the best of those a BRP and am having a blast.

Great bike & great to have ya...What type of headlight shroud is that?

No but my email address is clipityclopp. Not sure who makes the headlight it was on the bike when I bought it and never gave it any thought. I will see if it has any markings on it, I made need to know if I ever have to replace the lens.

Ok took the XRR for a ride and checked the make of the shroud and its a Acerbis.

How about posting a comparison of the CR500R to the XR650R. Handling, acceleration, brakes and maintenance.
