Fuel Tap Rubber
Anyone have a source to replacement washers ?, mine seems chewed slightly; I have turned it over but other side seems as bad ?, bike seems to run till nearly out of gas without hitting reserve I can only think it's leaking through the tap and drawing fuel from the reserve section ?.
Would have thought it would be a spare part as the tap is screwed together but cannot find any info on the seal ?.

Search here http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=409774&page=1157
and start searching ~30 pages back.
You'll find alternative Honda gaskets which fit and are normally available!

Not necessarily. If a hole develops in the pipe (brass?) within the mesh then it will do same - and I have seen pics of this! Re-check?

Re: Fuel Tap Rubber
If any holes then solder them shut - that is if small enough. Otherwise a very thin brass sheet/strip (ask your friendly model plane/car vendor for such) shaped over it can be soldered.
The trick is cleaning well and applying the proper flux to both parts prior to heating, that's all. Oh, clean & rinse VERY well afterwards.
