Do you guys have any info on suspension setup for an XR650R motard? Like springs, valving etc.

I don't think Maus's quick enough, he rides with a 12/58 gearing.

most road sports bikes have fairly firm damping/springing, id be inclined to firm up the damping first, easy with the fork via thicker oil, if that works id then do the shock, one possible easy option on the shock , could be to get the gas charged firmer?
