CRF 450 front fender for XR 650 R

Have installed the CRF front  mudguard this weekend and want to share some info just in case someone search for it .
I went for the red one , The colour is slightly different shade of red but not bad match , only Mauser would notice the difference  
The holes are matching the stock holes = direct fit .

The bad point - CRF fender is lighter = thinner , not as strong as the stocker ( relevant info if you use your fender to carry stuff ) , some washers are needed to fill the gap othervise it will move a little .

Good point - it looks miles better than the stock fender .

p.s. my garage is getting full of parts that i have taken off the bike

You can have white or black , i nearly went for white but i was not sure about the looks

I have a CRF150R fender on mine, as part of my semi-motard set up.  Hole pattern is just slightly smaller, but fits with out the metal bushings.  Here is a pic, the front wheel is a 19" off an NX250.

Which model year of the CRF450R fender fits the Honda XR650R?

Whats that 19" wheel like, as in road/offroad?

I have the 2004- 2008 crf 450 model because its the best looking fender in my opinion , but you can choose any fender you like , they all fit ( little bit of modding required with some like ktm fender for example )

It turns faster, about halfway between the stock 21 and a 17" Supermoto front. It is a little less predictable on dirt, but I hardly notice. It is much better on pavement.

Mine cut up the insides of the fork boots like crazy... I think the edge is fatter width than stocker?

I'm running Seal Savers in place of the stock boots, so no problem there.

I wonder if the owner of this bike recognize it ,( picture taken before he bought it    )
