Clutch Cushions

Okay, I have searched to no avail.

I am replacing my clutch basket with a Hinson. They do not provide the cushions that sit between the gear and the basket. There is a little play in the gear so I would like to replace them.

However I was told that they cannot be purchased separately. In order to get a new set of cushions I would need to purchase a new basket from Honda OEM just to destroy it and remove the cushions for the hinson basket.

Please tell me this is false and that I can purchase the cushions somewhere?

I have seen the hinson clutch basket with the rubbers already installed once , so i believed they are sold like that , but i might be wrong or there are two versions out there

your info is correct! You'll have to transfer the cushions to the Hinson basket, and rivet the thing shut.

Why are you not fitting an OEM clutch ?
