New XR650 owner Tujunga, CA

Hi, I picked up a well used 01 XR650 from a friend to replace my old DRZ400. I liked the DRZ but my stature is better suited to a BRP. Yeah, I am fat. It has a BD kit, plated, and dirt bags with billet rack, white bros pipe and edelbrock carb. I have the 7gal tank on it at the moment with the stock tank on the shelf. Maybe look for a 5 gal in the future. It needs a top end for sure. The bike has been all over. Stator upgrade is also likely in the future. Headed to Baja next week.
