Re: Clutch Cover Any Takers ?
Nice machining!
But,
eh,
how to be PC,
umm,
well,
oh forkit, I'd not buy it!
Reason is it does little if anything when it falls "off the sidestand" (nobody ever looses control and stops violently against/on a heap of rocks, funnily enough...). Rocks may not be aplenty in Blighty (dunno, never have been in the rain quite like Maddy ) but here they are, and I've seen a few punched covers with holes higher up.
I got the round stamped glued-on aluminium thing from the bloke in the US, looks and works well. Covers the whole thin bit of the cover, just saying

Nothing wrong with added bling-weight, but I buy bling for a purpose other than posing - its function!
Being marooned in some remote place due to a holed sidecover is no joke, in fact can be downright dangerous here - hence my remark Maus'! In Europe all's fine, the word 'remote' does not apply anywhere.
Oh, and much appreciated for your endeavor Mauser, but I - honestly, genuine - would not have mounted it if you'd sent it. Yeah, I'm difficult with my farkles, I suppose I may be too

How about a replacement billet clutch cover to complement the case saver and rear disc guard they already do?

That will be a MASSIVE chunk of ali to be machined, and loooooong machine hours...... and then the programme I've not mentioned yet, will cost a wad too.
How many thousands you want to fork out for such a fancy cover?
