Re: New BRP electric start
exactly! that is just for the parts they supply...there is then a list of Honda TRX and 650L ( ) parts to buy and then you need some machining and possibly welding done. I figure that in parts only, ie the kit and the extra parts you probably have $1500 in it and then if you have to pay for the machining as well...

My bike fires up 1st or 2nd kick, I could almost by another bike over here in the states for what it would cost to pay for that starter. I don't know about you guys but i don't want to grind or flatten anything on my bike !
Plus my wife loves my one manly calf muscle! Now if i could only modify a kick start lever for the other side

Ya but Chris, also be honest and tell the chaps you had been drinking Moonlight first, then were mooning the neighbour's wife so the neighbour moered your leg hence the moonboot!
Chuck it on Youtube and post the link, if anyone you can do this (he's an IT dude guys!).

I tripped in my driveway where Chris' bike was parked, grabbed hold onto the kicker et voila, the thing purred to life!
OK, I lie - after more than 2 hours being parked I only kicked it it to the 'hard point', brought it further with the decomp lever and then kicked it.... and it sprang to life. No cycling, no squirting juice (he's got a TM40 carb on it), no lifting of the slide or why, just a single kick - awesome!
And Mauser, notwithstanding he's got a bitofa long gearing on it the bugger comes up in first gear off the throttle!
Post a piccie of it here Chris, it's a looker too!

Re: New BRP electric start
Starting with left leg due to fractured right leg (No, not fractured from kicking the Pig)
